Recommended reading : Medical Apartheid, which documents the history of medical abuse against Africans and African Americans up to 1999. Hard to stomach and more than necessary reading for whites going into the medical field. I was reminded of this because stories of abuse like Tulsa occurred all over the country, and this book is well researched and footnoted while it brings this to light.
US school kids were already very deficient in history before this regime. Future generations will know nothing at all, if this idiot continues in her job.
genuinely appreciate the work you do, and honestly wish there was some way to help you out alongside monetary compensation. youre not looking for volunteer research assistants are ya?
A little more than 15 years ago I was doing scholarship on abolition literature under grants from the NEH to the Community College Humanities Association. I doubt that could happen today, but reading your piece i feel a strong desire to dig out my notes and start working again
You are a genius, Khalil! Thank you for sharing your knowledge of history (not black history, history.) we must keep our history alive despite those in power who want to erase it.
These folks are setting themselves up for hell... LITERALLY!! And that's a theory I don't like to impose on ANYONE; because I'm not too keen on going there myself! However... it frightens me to see how so many are blinded by a racist misogynist wanna be dictator who doesn't even possess the basic skills of the English language!!! To paraphrase one reader it definitely is up to us to teach our children our history; as these psychotic s.o.b's are trying to obliterate us from the map.
Great re-awakening advice Kahlil. I might look like Trump, but if you cut open our hearts and minds, you would see we are VERY different! Keep up the great work! Toronto
Their mission is to dumb down the school system and to teach an alternate reality. Make sure your own family knows the truth.

Mrs. Roper is shameful
Embarrassing.
Their ignorance and bias is shaping our policy on all fronts.
