I personally love supporting your work and don’t need extra perks that might take away from your mission. But if you enjoy doing extra stuff, I will enjoy watching it! :)
That means a lot, truly. I want to keep the core content free and accessible, so if all you need is for me to keep going, that helps me focus on the main stuff. Thanks for the support!
Thank you! Yes, the Moorish influence is everywhere, especially in places like Sevilla and Granada. The architecture, food, and even language still carry traces of that North African presence. I’ll definitely share more examples as I explore. It’s fascinating to see the layers of history still visible
More frequent personal video messages like this one, Deep dives into your research process and methodology? Honest conversations about the challenges of independent work, personal and meaningful (or even just plain funny) experiences you have while traveling and being immersed in a culture perhaps a little different then your own and learning about that culture live and in person. Also, I would love to learn more about your own culture... where are your roots, your heart, how you see the world and your hopes for yourself and other peoples in the present and the future.
I love all of these suggestions and really appreciate how thoughtful they are. I definitely want to share more personal stories, from the funny to the deeply meaningful, and bring people into the realities of this work and travel. I’ll also make space to explore my own roots and worldview more openly. These reflections are a big part of what drives me, and I’m excited to include more of that alongside the history and research. Thank you for this.
I concur with Cristina above with sharing African influence wherever you go. As I’m sitting here, it would be cool if you even began at the cradle of civilization, where “eve” was birthed and traced the origins of humans from there. I think that could help connect some dots with a lot of things.
That’s such a powerful idea. Tracing African influence from the very beginning could reveal so many overlooked connections. I’d love to explore that in future work
Thank you! I’ll definitely share more personal stories and behind-the-scenes moments soon. Grateful to be able to rest and reflect a bit and excited for what’s ahead!
Thank you so much! I’ll definitely start including more honest moments and mental health reflections. It means a lot to know that kind of openness is welcome here.
Thank you! I’ve heard great things about the Archivo de Indias, definitely adding it to my list. Can’t wait to explore more of Spain’s layered history.
I would be interested in your research process and methodology and just about anything you’re willing to share. I appreciate history from a new point of view.
That means a lot. I’ll definitely start sharing more about how I research and build these stories. Grateful you’re open to seeing history from a fresh angle with me.

Yes agreed!
I love the personal videos and I’d love to hear your process when you are developing a new project and how you follow the path to find the history.
I love that idea. I’ll definitely share more of my research process and how I uncover the deeper stories. Thanks for the encouragement!
Enjoy your vacation. Love the content but do take time for self. You'll be more prepared to continue the awesome content you bring. Safe travels!
Thank you so much. I’m definitely taking time to rest and recharge while still soaking in inspiration. Grateful for your kind words and support!
Enjoy your time in Spain! Can you share with us any African infuences you observe while there? Moors in Sevilla....?

Thank you, that truly means a lot. Just knowing you’re here and supporting the mission is more than enough.
Early works, yes! If you can include a transcript with videos over 5 minutes, that would also be great.
Absolutely, I can start adding transcripts to longer videos. I really appreciate the suggestion, and I’m glad you’re interested in the early work too!

The personal videos and Q and A
Got it, I’ll make sure to make a lot of those. Do you have any questions to start out with?
Enjoy that Tapas & red wine!
Thank you and the tapas are great (and actually free here)!
